Using Your Card

Review the retail, restaurant and travel establishments in the Shopping Categories menu to take advantage of the many opportunities that await you.

You have the opportunity to use your Make a Splash Card to make purchases in-store, online or by catalog depending on the establishment.

Present your Make a Splash card like you would a credit card to make an in-store or online purchase. Please be aware that any purchase that exceeds the amount of funds on your card will be declined. If your purchase amount is more than the value on the card, ask the establishment if more than one form of payment may be used. Please note that some establishments may not accept multiple forms of payment. Read the additional card tips below before using the card.

Your available funds will automatically be deducted from the balance on your card each time you make a purchase. Keep track of your available balance. If you are unsure of your remaining balance click on the card balance link above or call the number on the back of your card.

Additional tips:

1. Protect your Make a Splash Card.
You should safeguard your card from unauthorized use. Record your card number for your records and keep it in a safe location. It the Card is lost or stolen, contact Customer Service at 1-800-798-4104 immediately.

2. Always know the Cardís balance.
Before you make a purchase check your balance by clicking on the card balance link above or by calling Customer Service at 1-800-798-4104. If you do not have enough funds on your card to cover the purchase, your transaction may be declined.

3. Know the participating merchants.
The Make a Splash Card may only be used at a select group of participating merchants. Merchantís are subject to change. For the most up-to-date list of participating merchants review the Shopping Categories menu.

4. Online purchases.
When making online purchases you will need to make sure that your name and address information matches the information tied to your card. To update your card information go to the "Card Balance" section.

5. Split transactions.
If the amount of your purchase is greater than the available balance on your card you must consult with the merchant to determine if they will accept more than one form of payment. Tip: For optimal success pay the difference first in another method and run the remaining balance on your card.

6. Making reservations for accommodations or car rental.
When checking into a hotel or reserving a rental car, the merchant often places a hold on the card in anticipation of your stay or rental. We recommend using a personal credit or charge card when checking in to a hotel or reserving a rental car, then present your Make a Splash Card when paying the bill at the completion of your stay or rental.

7. Making travel reservations.
Please review the individual terms and conditions for all Travel & Entertainment merchants. The Make a Splash Card cannot be used with reservations made through a travel agency, travel agent or any other travel intermediary unless otherwise noted.
